Description
Nathan Pritikin discusses his book, “The Pritikin Permanent Weight-Loss Manual.” He begins by explaining that he includes recipes in his diet book from all over the world and all different cultures. He talks about the importance of lowering the intake of processed foods. He discusses how he attended the University of Chicago and holds over 50 different patents for items he invented. Pritikin describes what patients can do to ease symptoms from heart disease and diabetes. He talks about the most dangerous foods including sugar, salt, dairy, and eggs. He ends the interview by describing how he reversed his heart disease with a healthy diet.
