Photograph was edited for publication purposes Photograph article dated June 1, 1962 partially reads, "'I wanted to have an association with other women who share my interest--business,' said Mrs. Evelyn Terzo of Tujunga, a Georgia-born accountant, who takes both her club and her work quite seriously...Mrs. Terzo will be the guiding hand behind the activities of the 1,000 members in 29 clubs that comprise the Tri-Valley District this year. The district territory includes San Fernando, Antelope and Owens Valleys...Her other big interest is her parakeet, Tony. 'I've taught him to say more than 200 words in the six years I've had him,' she said proudly as Tony perched on her shoulder. 'I could teach him almost any word if I only had the time.'"
