Photograph caption dated September 11, 1985 reads, "Police and firefighters lower an animal rights activist from a canopy at an entrance to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. The demonstrator had chained himself to four other protesers above the entrance. Five other members of Last Chance for Animals also chained themselves together on the sidewalk to protest the alleged mistreatement of research animals bought from a San Bernardino animal shelter. All 10 protesters were arrested."
