Description
The State Highway Commission's insist that the Golden State freeway be routed through Griffith Park. To the left stand the trees of Griffith Park, next to them lies the Los Angeles riverbed, dry most of the year. Beside the channel a man walks on open ground where many groups are saying, "Put your freeway there, where it will do no harm." But, so far, protests have fallen on deaf ears.
