Description
Seven-year-old self-described farm boy Saburo Sasaki arrived at Manzanar on April 28, 1942. He lived in Block 36 and attended elementary school in Manzanar. The Sasaki family left for Cleveland, Ohio in October 1945. Sasaki never returned to live in California, but he and his wife Ann volunteer at Manzanar each May.
