Description
When Mayor Bowron, Army and Navy officials failed to arrive exactly on time for a peace meeting scheduled for 1:30 o'clock, union members walked out. Photo shows members milling about outside the Labor Temple, while E. D. McClurg, president of the Los Angeles Division of Transportation Union, pleaded with them to "give 'em the courtesy of your presence." Union members, however, refused to return and continue the meeting.
