Description
Photograph of a view of the boiler room in Plant #3 of the Long Beach Steam Station at Southern California Edison Company, [s.d]. A walkway with a tiled floor runs throughout the center of a building with high ceilings and exposed beams. Thick wires hang on the sides of the walls while a machine in the center contains gauges. The walls on both sides of the hallway extend out of the image while each wall seems to contain a vast connection of machinery showing smooth panels on the front. Light can be seen cascading in from above and a large window in the distance.
