The article partially reads, "Only one store, Panorama Jewelers, 8410 Van Nuys Blvd., where the blaze started, was totally gutted by flames...Smoke then poured through the common attic, fire fighters said, and caused damage in the one-story brick stucco building containing: Mode O' Day, 8408 Van Nuys Blvd.; Dr. Graeme Optometrist, 8406; the House of Nine, 8404; Panorama Bootery, 8412; Sally Shops, 8414, and Monroe's Clothing, 8416."
