Photograph article dated February 9, 1965 reads, "Although Merick Riggle won't be a threat for the Indianapolis 500-mile, he gets plenty fun and recreation driving his special made machine as he takes part in San Fernando Valley Auto Karting Club activities. This kart is capable of going 85 miles per hour, its frame is made of aircraft steel, is electro-welded and equipped with a McCulloch motor. Riggle is president of the S.F. Valley club and displays trophies won in recent events."
