Photograph of Broadway decorated for Foreign Trade Week, Los Angeles, February 1932. Broadway runs from the foreground to the background at center, and streetcar tracks can be seen embedded in the middle of the road. Many automobiles can be seen driving in the street and parked along its sides. Tall buildings are visible in the background, including the Los Angeles Examiner building at left. Overhead, flags of many countries, including the United States, Japan, the United Kingdom, France, and Sweeden, can be seen hanging vertically from wires. Legible signs include, from left: "Autopark", "[West]ern Pacific Bldg.", "Commercial Club", "Visit Your Harbor Feb. 22nd Harbor Day. Foreign Trade Week Feb. 16-22", "C-H Menu sugar", "West Coast Stationery", and "Your doctor says hot lemonade Sunkist Lemons".
