Description
Photograph of a Ku Klux Klan float which was barred from the Huntington Beach 4th of July parade, 1924. An Orange County Ku Klux Klan float displaying "Fencing, Modern and Ancient" stands at center. A large sign next to it reads: "This float barred from parade by parade executives." Klansmen, hooded and holding flags stand to the right of the float. Two women fight with stage swords on top of the float with potted plants to either side of them. In front, a cardboard figure of a Greek warrior holds a spear.
