The smallest girl at center wears a band of flowers on her head and holds an open book in her hands. The girl on her left also wears a band of flowers on her head, and the girl at right has a bandana tied around her head. Two taller girls stand behind the center girl and stare at the book. In the background at center, the side of a house with a tile roof can be seen. In the extreme background, the top of a palm tree is visible near a utility pole.
