Photograph caption dated March 6, 1963 reads, "Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Owen, right, longtime Valley residents and civic leaders, were honored at a recent testimonial dinner-dance at the Castaway Restaurant, Burbank. Congratulating the North Hollywood couple are Russell Quisenberry, president of the North Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, and Mrs. Quisenberry. Plans are now under way for installation of an 'Edna and Marvin Owen Memorial' at the San Fernando Valley Youth Foundation Teen Center. The Owens are moving to Washington State following his pending retirement from the Department of Water and Power after 38 years with the agency."
