Photograph was edited for publication purposes
Photograph caption dated August 21, 1957 reads, "Jack Foreman, co-owner of Gene Klein Motors, looks over the unusual new Volkswagon Traveler which offers the convenience of a house trailer, yet without it [sic] cumbersomeness or limited roadability. Vehicle can also be used as an office, camper or station wagon, according to Foreman, who has them on display at 5511 Van Nuys Blvd."
