Photograph article dated September 16, 1961 partially reads, "The Valley Times TODAY's 'Whatzit-Wherezit' picture contest, a regular weekend feature, had two winners in puzzle No. 2. Nancy Bantau, 9354 Gerald Ave., Sepulveda, and Steven Schatzberg, 16538 Greenleaf St., Encino, split the $50 prize and each gets an extra $2.50 for sending his entry on a post card. Both are 18 years old - sophomore students at Valley State College - Nancy a physical education major; Steven, theater arts. They will use their prize winnings to buy books for the fall semester." Pictured is Nancy Bantau.
