Image of soldiers fighting British troops in the Battle of Monmouth in New Jersey in 1778 during the American Revolutionary War; men shoot from cover at British troops in the distance at left; a woman loads a cannon, with a child ready to ignite it, near wounded and dead men; officers on horseback direct a rank of riflemen at right.
Date supplied by cataloger based on printer history; Kurz & Allison were located on Wabash from 1885-1896. "Kurz & Allison, 76 & 78 Wabash Ave., Chicago."--text, bottom right margin.
