A hand colored image of the Barbara Jordan Memorial Bird Fountain on the Stanford University campus, presented by Mrs. Bertha M. Rice to acting president Robert E. Swain, as a memorial to the daughter of David Starr Jordan who died of scarlet fever at the age of 9.
