A view from the street toward the front of a house overwhelmed by the roses growing in front of the house by the wrought iron fence at the sidewalk; at the gate stand a woman and a young girl; a young child in profile stands in front of the gate; only the porch of the house can be seen; on the left an evergreen rises above the roses and on the right another tree frames the scene above the roses.
"Opposite "Naglee Park. The home of Mrs. Coe's mother" -- handwritten below caption. Naglee Park was located in San Jose, corner of Santa Clara and Eleventh Streets. Mrs. Coe, formerly Leontine Carteri, married to Charles W. Coe of Coe family.
