Title supplied by cataloger. The 16th century marble canopy over Doheny's sarcophagus came from the Santa Sabina Basilica in Rome and was said to have been a sympathy gift from Pope Pius XI. Photograph caption dated February 19, 1929 reads, "Pallbearers are pictured carrying Mr. Doheny's bronze casket to his last resting place in the Temple of Santa Sabina, which was carved in the second century and stood ...[illegible]..."
