Description
Photograph caption dated October 28, 1959 reads, "North Hollywood High School's Caballeros Hi-Y Club, firm in belief that change in hazing practices is in order, has instituted work sessions for incoming members. An idea which took root three years ago, work scope has been increased to include yard work, maintenance and car washing. Work is done under supervision of club officers and money earned goes into club treasury. Five new members, left to right: Dennis Holme; John Whitman; Charles Sullivan; Casey Dodge; and Gary Holme, are doing their initiation bit by washing automobiles."
