Description
Clifford E. Clinton, founder of Clifton's Cafeterias, takes the district attorney campaign "south of the border". Clinton, who is backing John Dockweiler, is pictured at left when he had newsmen talk over phones in his home to a man purported to be Pete Del Gado in Mexico. In front of Clinton is Fred Arnold, Herald-Express reporter. The man purported to be Del Gado said today that he made the transcription in the recent radio row. Photo date: October 30, 1940.
