Photograph caption dated September 13, 1935 reads, “Shown above is the new $75,000 home of the United States Paper Co. at 3001 East Pico boulevard. The building represents the tremendous progress made by the paper concerns in the brief span of 10 years. The picture below is of the old building, outgrown by the steady increase in business.” For the images of the new building referenced in the caption, see order number 00033894. Visible signage reads “U.S. Paper Co. Wholesale wrapping paper – bags – twine – toilet paper and paper specialties.
