Description
Photograph of earthquake damage showing Creek City in San Francisco, 1906. Makeshift tents, shanties, and a line of hanging clothes can be seen in the distance, with two pedestrians standing to the left, while rubble fills much of the foreground. To the right and in the background, it is evident that walls have crumbled from various buildings. The image looks from the US Mint towards the Bay.
