Photograph of the crucifix at Mission San Miguel Arcangel, near Templeton, California, ca.1905. The cross is attached to a decoratively painted wall in front of a piece of cloth directly below a wall sconce. Letters at the top read "INRI". Blood from the Christ figure is depicted flowing from a cut in his chest down to his left knee, as well as at both wrists and feet.
