Description
Contains moving images of a Railway & Locomotive Historical Society excursion from Oakland 16th Street Station to Reno and return. The steam locomotive used is the SP4460. The film starts out in San Francisco at the Ferry Building where the passengers were bussed across the Bay Bridge to the Oakland 16th St Station. Scenes show the train at Oakland, at the Sacramento depot, crossing the American River Bridge in Sacramento, Colfax and Reno. Some inside train scenes are shown but are very dark and hard to view. Then the return trip shows Reno and a celebration at Sacramento with a band. In front of the depot, the Cab-Forward 4294 is shown in the park along with the locomotive CP Huntington.
