Image shows view of the Mrs. Caroline Johnson residence, located on Via la Selva on lot 34, block 1800, tract 6882, in Malaga Cove. View looking southwest shows front entrance to the single-story stucco house with chimney, attached garage, and tile roof. A stucco wall encloses the front patio, with a gate visible at far left. Eucalyptus trees surround the house. The builders are given as Whiting-Boynton-Potts on the building permit card. By 1930 the house was owned by Mrs. Wilson Shaler Patterson (Letitia Lilly Patterson), and subsequent owners were Mr. and Mrs. Fleet, and Mr. and Mrs. Curt Highly.
