Description
Connie and Lillian begin the interview discussing the role of friendship in people’s lives and how people have different friends for different needs. They proceed to discuss the gender differences in friendships, competition between friends, and the sexual dynamics that may emerge between cross-gender friendships. Connie and Lillian then consider the impact of the sexual revolution of the 1960s and 1970s on friendships and marriage, and Connie closes the interview requesting an autograph for her copy of the book.
