Description
When a soldier writes home, he usually has not much to write except his regular camp life. Film stars visiting the various Army camps are happy to pose with soldiers and give them autographs or something the boys can write about. Movie actresses Marlene Dietrich, Lucille Ball and Linda Darnell do their bit for the boys at Moffett Field near Palo Alto on May 27, 1942, as part of a U.S.O. entertainment tour of Army camps.
