Description
This circa 1955 postcard features a view of downtown Sacramento from 8th and K streets, looking east. Featured prominently are signs for Daniels Jewelers and the Coffee Shop at the Clunie Hotel. Daniels Jewelers opened at 725 K Street in September of 1946. The Coffee Shop was opened in 1924 by Edwin J. Bedell, who bought the hotel from its previous owners in 1917.
