Interior of the Baroque-inspired, Italianate, Catholic Cathedral of St. Vibiana, 208-216 S. Main St., looking to the rear of the church. Chandeliers hang from the vaulted ceiling over the nave which is separated from side aisles by columns.; Dedicated in 1876, the cathedral cost $80,000 to construct. Ezra F. Kysor was the architect. The interior was remodeled around 1895, using onyx and marble.
