Description
Photograph of a view of a road in Nashville, El Dorado County, 1936. A man examines an automobile parked outside of a boarding house on the right. Another wooden building with a shingled, sloping roof and a porch stands next to the boarding house. A fenced field can be seen on the opposite side of the street from these buildings until what appear to be houses stand on the left, further down the road. The electrical poles and trees that stand on the sides of the dusty road can be seen lining the road in the distance. Picture file card reads "Nashville. Once a rush spot in El Dorado County, now deserted but still has some charm left as one looks down the street. The old Tennessee Hotel on the right. Photo -- 1936".
