Description
Photograph of the painting "Appicus Claudius Caecus", [s.d.]. A large group of Roman men dressed in lightly-colored togas are pictured in a procession into what appears to be the Roman forum. At their helm, an elderly man is helped along into the hall. To the left, a man in darker robes stands by his chair, men at tables visible behind him. Above them, images of charioteers and soldiers on horseback decorate the a strip along the wall. The painting is quite possibly a fresco, as a paneled door cuts into the scene to the left, and a chair can be seen beneath the bottom edge to the right. Above the painting, an inscription i Italian reads "Quello che e' e Sara e' Stato in Altro Te[...]".
