Photograph caption dated May 13, 1963 reads, "'Spring Theme' will be the theme May 25 when parishioners from St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, Canoga Park, dance to the music of Woody Hite and his orchestra from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. at the Woodland Hills Country Club, 21150 Dumetz Rd. The event is being planned to help parishioners get better acquainted by the Altar Society and Mothers Club, represented by Mrs. William Stage, in conjunction with the Holy Name Society, represented by Bernie Hamik." Photograph caption reads, "Women make decorations for 'Spring Fling' - From left are Mrs. Lucas and Mrs. Stage."
