Description
Photograph of a view of a field in Torrance, 1912. A field fills the image, stretching to the horizon. The area in the foreground appears to be flood-damaged, with rows of dead and broken plant stalks that protrude from the bare dirt. Many of the stalks are shriveled and bent.
