Description
The West Coast Computer Faire was an annual computer industry conference and exposition. The first faire was held in 1977 and was organized by Jim Warren and Bob Relling. At the time, it was the biggest computer show in the world, intended to popularize the personal computer in the homes. The Sixth West Coast Conference took place in San Francisco on April 3-4-5, 1981. This is the recording of the panel titled "Macrocosmic views of microcomputing". The titles of the papers presented are: "Toward an electronic Bill of Rights" by Dean Gengle. "LISP, GREEK and ARETE: musings on a classical education for the computer age" by Lois Patricia Flynne. "Computerization, communication and organization theory" by Paul M. Armetta.
