Description
William Wrigley Jr. built this residence in 1919 shortly after he purchased Santa Catalina Island. Today it functions as a bed and breakfast. Printed on reverse: This palatial home was built by the late Wm. Wrigley Jr. and occupies a site on Mt. Ada, with a commanding view of the Avalon Bay and coast-line of the Island. Written on reverse: "Hello folks, Harry & I will time & have got of a lot of pictures & will show them when I come home. Love, Bob" Postmark: Aug 30, 1948.
