This circa 1918 advertisement promotes the wares of Henry Spring, Inc. The Michigan native started in the automobile business in 1916, having gone on to sell Ford, Packard and De Soto lines. The pictured Earl Cooper was one of the nation's highest profile racers, winning three American Automobile Association championships over his 15 year career.
