Images of the nation's Democratic heroes were painted on the south side of the Hotel Figueroa at 939 South Figueroa as part of a way to welcome the DNC, and part of Apple Computer's "Think Different" campaign. The 12-story "Think Different" mural could be seen by those attending the Democratic National Convention held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. The murals featured from left to right: First, Cesar Chavez (top), Bobby Kennedy; Second, Franklin D. Roosevelt; Third, Martin Luther King, Jr. (top) and Eleanor Roosevelt. Below these murals, crowds of people gathered across the Staples Center where the Democratic convention was being held.
