Description
Tongue-in-cheek, humorous resolution passed by the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors "Whereas, Rodney J. Diridon is holding a retreat this November 15, a fine fall day, for the edification and enlightenment of his staff and promotion and (we hope) continuance of his political career; ... "Now, therefore, be it resolved that the hired guns of the Fourth District of Santa Clara County do hereby honor, commend and poke in the ribs Rod Diridon for ten years of retreating in the interest of victory, five years of conservative haircuts, natty dressing and first-rate forbearance of frivolous foibles from a staff of Fitts and misfits who couldn't get a decent job."
