Note translation: This image was published as no 10 in the album 'Achtzig Ansichten von der Goldküste (Westafrika) nach Originalaufnahmen des Missionars Fritz Ramseyer' (= 'Eighty views of the Gold Coast from original photographs of the missionary Fritz Ramseyer'), Neuchâtel 1895. - Caption there: "The Sanatorium in Aburi. A sanatorium has been built in Aburi because of its healtheir climate. Sick missionaries find recovery there under the faithful care of the mission doctor and his wife. Alongside his missionary work [sic] Dr Fisch has a large clinic, which is much appreciated by the indigenous people." - The French version of this publication ("Quatre-vingt Vues....") adds that Dr Fisch not only has a clinic here, "but travels from this centre in all directions [to provide] medical services." - Cf.
