Description
Photograph of two ships in San Pedro harbor, ca.1905. A two-masted sailing vessel is at right and is anchored and not moving. Its sails are stowed beneath canvas covers. A similar-sized steam ship is making its way across the image from left. It has a light-colored hull and a cloth cover over its rear deck. It has two masts and is flying an American flag from a pole over the stern. Several houses and other buildings are visible along the raised shoreline, and there is a mountain range in the distance.
