Photograph of members of the Sunset Club dressed in Japanese costumes for a Japanese banquet, ca.1900. Approximately seventy members are gathered around four tables that have been arranged in a square formation. All of the people are looking towards the camera and two men in the foreground at right are shaking hands. Many of the members are wearing long kimonos and other Japanese garments, although several are wearing more traditional suits. The room is decorated with Japanese flags, origami birds and paper lanterns.
