Description
As viewed from the south, this November 4, 1932 photograph shows, in the foreground, aeration pools. Behind that are mixing tanks, and other pre-treatment operations. Also visible is construction which would see the addition of a 480,000 dollar sedimentation basin. The new basin provided for the continuous removal of silt and other foreign agents via machinery, as opposed to winter shut/down and manual removal.
