Photograph of women lined up to practice archery at the University of California, Los Angeles, ca.1930. A row of eight women with bows and arrows in hand hold their right arms back in order to extend the bowstring while holding the bow straight out with their left arms. The women wear skirts that fall just below the knee with stockings to cover their legs. As each girl stands sideways a bunch of arrows supported in an upright position stands in front of the girls.
