Photograph (blurred) of a Hopi woman in the pueblo of Walpi (Walpai), Arizona, ca.1898. She sits on the doorstep of an adobe dwelling with a wooden door. She wears a dress, but no shoes. A dark sash can be seen around her waist. The woman is fairly old, and her long hair shows streaks of gray.
