Description
Image of houses along the beach in Santa Monica, California, looking south from a bluff of Palisades Park with the Palisades Beach Road (part of Pacific Coast Highway) below and the California Incline, Santa Monica Pier, and Santa Monica Yacht Harbor breakwater visible in the distance. Ocean House, or the Oceanhouse Hotel, and Sand and Sea Beach Club that had been built as the beach house of actress Marion Davies, appears at center right (with multiple fireplaces).
