Yellow pine reproduction on the Chinatown Road near Camp Califorest, showing the abrupt change from cultivated to an uncultivated area. The picture shows a few mature yellow pines and a large amount of thrifty reproduction. A few months before the taking of the picture a number of the large veterans were removed. The land shown is owned by George Maureraud McElroys. 1926
