Description
Connie and Zig begin the interview discussing Zig’s background, the importance of reading for children, and Zig’s view on current harmful youth practices, including the consumption of too much television. They proceed to talk about adolescent depression, suicide, and how to instill high self-esteem in young children, particularly boys, before moving on to talk about sexual abuse of young children and prevention methods for such abuse. Connie and Zig then consider the teenage years and the importance of not rushing into sexual intimacy, and the significance of morality and honesty in a child’s character. Connie closes the interview requesting an autograph for her copy of the book.
