Description
Photograph caption reads: "A white Lipizanner stallion executes the centuries-old equestrian figure called the capriole, in which his four legs leave the ground simultaneously. A Boccherini minuet provided an unaccustomed touch of the baroque in the Forum as the meticulously bred animals were put through their paces by oberbereiters (chief riders) of the Spanish Riding School near Vienna. A final performance is tonight". Photograph dated: Dec. 9, 1984.
