Description
Republican mural, Clowney St., Beechmount, West Belfast. Mural depicts three Blanket-men on dirty protest in H-Block prison cell. Mural above one of the oldest Republican murals; Hunger strike mural from 1981 with phoenix and emblems of four provinces of Ireland, 'The people arose in 69, they will do it again at anytime. Maggie Thatcher think again, don't let our brave men die in vain'. Mural supporting Catalan independence to left.
